I’m at Club Med Turkoise in Turks & Caicos. The WiFi access is $6.99 for 30 minutes. Ugh. However, on the plus side, the drinks are included and the beach and ocean are great. I went snorkeling yesterday, spotted a bunch of fish, a squid, two reef sharks, and a nurse shark. The longest one we saw was about 4 feet.
In any case, we’ve been here two days and I’m having fun, although I do feel a bit marooned from normal life. Cell phone doesn’t work here and the Internet is being held hostage for $6.99 per half hour. I think you can buy a 4 hour package for $20, but still, where’s the 24 hour / week pass?
