I recommend against anyone ever staying at this hotel. We arrived last night, and they had failed to update my reservation properly, so despite having a confirmation code, they didn’t have a room for me. Eliot and Ryan roomed together and I took Eliot’s room. To make up for it last night, the hotel manager treated us to drinks and dinner, BUT when some of the developers showed up and Karina showed to dinner late, we were charged for that portion. This morning, they were supposed to take my luggage and put it in the new room that they’d have for me.
We got back from an all day meeting to find my room empty of luggage. I went to Ryan’s room to see if it was there. That was when he realized that all the luggage that was in the room (mine, Eliot’s, and Ryan’s) was gone. We went down to the front desk and the luggage was found in their luggage storage room. They had packed up everything that was in Eliot and Ryan’s bags. I retrieved my bag and went back to my room.
Then, Ryan called me a few moments ago, letting me know that all of his clean clothes which had been in the drawers and hanging in the closet of his room were missing. Not in my bag. Not in Eliot’s bag. Just gone. The front desk calls me and asks me to look through my bag and the room to make sure his clothing isn’t here. It’s not, to which the guy at the front desk replies, “It’s a puzzler.” THEN, as I am lying here, the maid bursts into the room without knocking.
wtf?!
Also, besides all of this, I should add that the wait staff in the restaurant is slow and often makes mistakes with the orders. Karina ordered an asparagus and onion omelette this morning, and they brought her spinach and tomatoes.
