I just purchased Thom Yorke’s new album, The Eraser, off of iTunes. It comes with an interactive booklet, which I think may be something new for iTunes. Not sure. I wish the full Radiohead corpus would show up on iTunes, but to date, I’ve heard reports that Yorke is adamant about the albums only being available in formats where they cannot be purchased piecemeal but must be a cohesive whole. I wonder why his theory changed for this solo venture, or if the whole story is just an fairytale that the rumor mill shot out at one point or another.
In any case, so far the album is great.
