So, this past week we had two new arrivals in our apartment. A new credenza and a new desk, so I actually have a little office area behind our den area on the back side of our longish living room. It seems to nicely accommodate everything, and nicely separates my work life from the rest of our life. Kristin seems pleased, as it keeps my work from sprawling across the entire apartment.
However, it has made it clear that the apartment is getting a bit small for us as our homeowner needs are growing, so we actually met with our real estate agent this morning to discuss the exorbitant prices apartments in our area are going for, the large profit it looks like we could make off of selling our apartment now, and the type of future apartment we’d like to move into. We’re shooting for a spacious 2 bedroom with small office space or 3 bedroom. Wish us luck.
ps—I hate moving…and lawyers and mortgage brokers, BUT Dorella, our real estate agent, is the best.
