This seems silly to me: Boing Boing: Did Renaissance painters use projectors?—is this any different than the camera obscura that nearly every art student learns about, and quite a few use? I think there is some huge presumption on the part of non-artists that using such aids undercuts the artwork. If someone is not a capable artist, even with a projection on the wall, their art won’t be worth viewing. Art is very hackish, in that if you are an artist, you create art in whatever way you can and using whatever aids and tools that are at your disposal.
