Kristin and I arrived in LA yesterday. This weekend was a little rough emotionally, saying goodbye to family and friends. Tara gave us a heart-wrenchingly thoughtful “safe travels I love you guys” card Saturday night, and Jay chased that with this post on his blog the next morning: “On a plane bound for the sun”. Kristin’s family saw us off at the airport and there were some tears. Extremely emotional.
So far so good though. We had a nice walk toward the beach this morning before work. This was the view:
