Yesterday, I ordered an EVDO Express card for my MacBook Pro. It’s through Verizon and it’s supposed to be here by Monday, according to the tracking info. However, Doc’s post from Wednesday gave me some pause as I sit here on a quiet Friday night catching up on my feeds: “Turns out I called Verizons ‘residential’ number. The wireless number is 800-922-0204. Im on hold with that number now, listening to an enthusiastic, insincere recorded ad for yet another service I dont want, but Im sure exists just so Verizon can add one more billing event to its growing inventory.” That doesn’t sound fun. Hope this new card works as flawlessly as the old PC5740 has been working on my Linux laptop.
Also, it’s a sad sad thing in my life that I only get to check my RSS feeds once every 3 days these days. Life is busy.
