Yesterday, during the last day of my vacation, after my brother Kevin left town, I piled all my Playstation 1 & 2 games, my PS2, and all my PS2 accessories into a box and took them to EB Games, where I traded them in for a handful of Nintendo DS Games and another Nintendo DS lite for Kristin. They don’t take PS1 games as trade-ins, so I gave them all away to people standing in line and to the two guys working the counter. It felt good. We haven’t been playing the PS2 (I think the last time I played was before I grabbed my PSP) and have started thinking about cleansing ourselves of extraneous possessions in anticipation of our move from our current apartment to a slightly larger one.

It’s odd though. We have portable gaming systems, but no XBox, no Gamecube, and no PS2…. plenty of room for the Wii when it comes out! 😉
