I woke up to the sight of a large snow marshmallow sitting atop the AC unit in our bedroom window. Looked outside to see it pouring snow. I took some pictures, but against the backdrop of white, I noticed a few black specks in the same spots in all my shots and I used different lenses. So something got inside my D70.
Now all my wonder with the snow is gone, replaced by the aggravation and disappointment that I need to figure out how to clean the innards of my camera (or spend some money for someone else to do it). A day of wonderful snow shots ruined…
Update: Fixed the camera dots. Nothing like clicking the shutter with no lens on and shooting air down the pipe. w00t!
