Before I “go to work” (even though I’ve already been working on a few things), I wanted to just note that today is my first day at the new job. I have a lot of “first day” mechanics to go through, like one does with any new job, but I think I’ll find that the largest adjustment will be getting used to the freedom of working out of the home. I mean, I’ve been working out of the home as a writer for quite some time now, but that work supplemented a regular, go to the office, 9-5 job. Now I have to adjust to working out of the home full time. I don’t think it will be a problem and I’m totally looking forward to it, but it’s an interesting adjustment nonetheless.
