This program lets you switch between different background images / skin sets for the PSP on the fly:
Yoshihiro from WAB has just released a PSP skin changing program. This program will let you select from 40 different skins, and allows a preview in the selection menu. The only known bug so far according to the readme is that you cannot preview the original firmware skins.
It’s homebrew, of course. I wonder how it compares to PSPersonalize.
