I hate this time of year.

I like that it is getting warmer and that the sun is out.

I don’t like all the plants trying to “get it on” in the air which I am supposed to be breathing.

There is a thin yellow film on everything in Westchester right now, and if I for some reason mistakenly sigh or yawn and breathe in through my mouth, I am thrown into a convulsive coughing fit as the pollen hits the back of my highly allergic throat. My eyes have been itching for the past week now and when mid-afternoon hits I am stuck in groggy-muffled mode. This despite being doped up on all the stuff that modern medicine has to offer. Ugh.
