This week has been rough. A good friend to the Fordham community died unexpectedly on Saturday. I knew him, though not well, as I didn’t work day in and day out with him as did many of my coworkers. I just returned from his funeral. The service was nice and made me realize how much he has been a friend to me. He was a good enabler, supportive and encouraging of all my various endeavors, always asking after my dissertation progress and my writing. He will be missed.
