Cablevision has moved around some channels without any warning. Sci-fi and Food Network disappeared tonight from our cable box. After some flipping through the guide, we discovered that they’d moved to 73 and 66 respectively (from 89 and 90). There had been a mailing several weeks ago that mentioned they were being moved from the premium package to the regular package, but no mention of the channel changes. Do I have to update all the ReplayTV scheduled recordings now?
On the plus side, we can now downgrade our service, as the only reason we sprung for the premium service was so I could get Sci-Fi and so she could get Food network.
