So, the heater in the guest room at Curt and Marian’s was broken over Christmas, and we were bundled up under covers while there. Since we’ve returned home, I’ve been a little more sniffly than the normal seasonal-allergies. Much of the last two days was spent walking about in the snow and cold looking for a new car for Kristin. She’s the proud owner of a new VW Passat.

Last night, after returning home with the new car, the beginnings of a sore throat developed. I tried to kill it with some peppermint tea and a shot of NyQuil™ last night before bed, but as I awoke this morning, I realized that it didn’t work. No fever. Still running at my cooler-than-average 97.6°F, but slight upper-respiratory infection, head-cold sniffly. Yuck.
